Professional Development Director

Ibrahim Diallo serves as the Professional Development Director of Guineans Succeeding in America. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School. At Michigan Law School, Ibrahim served as the President of the Black Law Students Association and Mentorship Chair for the Muslim Law Students Association. Ibrahim is a first-year project finance law clerk who specialises in advising on complex and innovative transactions in the infrastructure, energy, M&A and real estate sectors. He has experience in researching, drafting, and assisting in due diligence for project finance deals involving a variety of financing sources, such as commercial banks, multilateral agencies, export credit agencies, development finance institutions, investment funds and Islamic finance. Ibrahim works with a diverse range of clients, including sponsors, lenders, contractors, governments and regulators, across different regions and jurisdictions, such as Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America. He has been involved in some of the most significant and challenging project finance transactions in the market, such as the financing of renewable energy projects, power plants, satellites, and airports. He is passionate about contributing to the development and sustainability of the infrastructure and energy sectors and delivering solutions that meet the needs and expectations of his clients. In his leisure time, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and playing basketball with friends.
